Rankings
Rank tracking that admits what it could not measure
Real searches, run live. This is the part where the honesty rule costs us the prettiest charts, and it is the part we would least like to give up.
How positions are found
Each tracked phrase is searched for real, around sixty results deep, and anything the engine returns that does not actually answer the query is discarded before it can become a position.
The gaps stay gaps
Position over 14, 30 or 90 days. A day that could not be measured stays blank. It is not carried forward from yesterday, and it is not interpolated between two points that were measured.
A line that joins up across a gap is a drawing, not a record, and once a chart has told you one thing that never happened you cannot trust the rest of it.
The service-area map
One pin per town a business actually covers, in four states: ranking, checked and not ranking, could not measure, and not checked yet. Four rather than two, because "we looked and you are not there" and "we could not look" are different pieces of news and only one of them is your problem.
Search Console, which is better than any scraper
Real Google positions, clicks and impressions for any site you or a client has verified. Official data, free, and connected per site so every client keeps their own property. Pointing a site at it takes about a minute.
We would rather hand you Google's own numbers than our estimate of them, and where both exist the official one wins.
Keyword research without invented volumes
Real phrases from search autocomplete, grouped by intent: local, ready-to-buy, and questions. No invented monthly volume figures and no difficulty score dressed up as a measurement.
